The World’s Longest Yard Sale concludes today.
This year’s route stretched a total of 690 miles from Gadsden, Alabama all the way to a point just north of Addison, Michigan.
They say you can find almost anything.
There were gardening supplies, tools, glassware, plates, jewelry, lawn mowers, art, woodworking, military surplus supplies, musical instruments, toys, collectible Coca cola bottles, antique tin signs and clothing. And that was just in one area at the intersection of Alabama Highways 68 and 176 between Collinsville and Sand Rock.
There was plenty of haggling, but of course, negotiating for the best possible price is one of the things that have made the 127 Sale such an enjoyable event for the last 26 years.
