Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies were held Tuesday for Phase Two of the Pine View Crossing Apartments, located on Bay Springs Road across from Jack’s.
Pine View Crossing II was funded in part by the Home Investment Partnership Program and Federal tax credits through the Alabama Housing Authority, Equity was provided by Regions Bank in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The property is designated for persons 55 years and older.
It is owned by the Braden Group, which is based in Summerville, and owns a number of properties in Georgia and Alabama.
South Carolina-based Boyd Management will oversee daily operations at the complex.
Centre Mayor Tony Wilkie, Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, members of the Chamber of Commerce and other dignitaries were in attendance at Tuesday’s ceremony.
Following the ribbon cutting, those in attendance were able to tour one of the units.
