One person was killed, another injured in a vehicle rollover occurring on County Road 75 about 5 miles north of Cedar Bluff near Harton’s Store Thursday night.
According to Alabama State Trooper accident reports, the 1992 Mitsubishi Galant crashed at around 8:45pm, killing 28-year old Patrick Lavon Fife of Cedar Bluff and injuring 32-year old Natasha Nichole Elrod of Fort Payne.
Elrod was air-lifted to UAB for treatment.
The Cedar Bluff Fire Department and Alabama State Troopers responded to the accident, along with the County Coroner.
No other vehicles were involved in the mishap, which remains under investigation.
