A meth lab bust in Dekalb County results in the arrest of four people.
Sheriff Jimmy Harris states that on Thursday a DeKalb County Sheriff’s Deputy and Drug Task Force agents went to follow up on some complaints at a residence on County Road 1021 in Dawson.
The Deputy and Drug Task Force agents got consent to search the residence.
During the search they recovered small amounts of Meth, a Large quantity of Drug Paraphernalia, syringes, crushers, pills and 3 one pot meth labs.
DHR was notified when the Officers found 2 children were at the residence.
There were 4 suspects at the residence.
40-year old James O’Dell Davis of Dawson, 18-year old Phillip Aaron Hood of Fyffe, 35-year old Jody Lavaughn Collins of Dutton, and 20-year old Megean Leeann Collins of Dutton were all arrested and charged with Unlawful Manufacturing of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
All 4 were transported to DeKalb County Detention Center where they await bond.
