State Law Enforcement Officers Investigating The Possible Production Of Child Pornography In Cherokee County

Several State and Local Law Enforcement Officials were in Centre and Cedar Bluff this afternoon executing a warrant in regards to a lengthy investigation which may lead to an arrest in connection with the possible production of Child Pornography.

Officers first went to a residence on Cornwall Avenue in Cedar Bluff but the individual they were looking for was not there, officers received information that he was located at a residence on Industrial Drive (pictured below) in Centre.

WEIS Radio News was on the scene with officers and we spoke to Trooper Curtis Summerville who is the Public Information Officer for the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency –

Trooper Summerville said that a person of interest has been detained but not charged at this time.
