Etowah County investigators have arrested a woman in connection with counterfeit money.
Sheriff Todd Entrekin says 38 year old Amy Jo Reaves Conn of Guntersville, has been arrested on first degree possession of a forged instrument.
Investigators say Conn was in possession of nine pieces of counterfeit money. She was arrested during a traffic stop of a vehicle in which she was a passenger. Entrekin said Conn faces other charges related to drugs and drug paraphernalia, which were in her possession.
She is currently being held in the Etowah County Detention Center on $5,000 bond for possession of the forged instruments.
