An Etowah County woman has been jailed on burglary and theft charges in connection with a break-in back in mid-December.

According to Sheriff Todd Entrekin – Ashley Carol Butler, age 33 of Attalla – illegally entered a Carnes Road residence and took a number of items including two guns, ammunition, tools and a compound bow.

Butler was booked into the Etowah County Detention Center on the charges of Burglary 3rd Degree and Theft of Property 1st Degree; she was later released on $7,500 bond.
