No one was hurt, but crews had to clean up a big mess after a tractor-trailer containing wood chips and mulch overturned in West Rome Wednesday.
According to a witness at the scene, it appeared as though the driver of the rig was attempting to turn at the intersection of Redmond Circle and Mathis Drive.
He may have hit a curve, resulting in the truck ending up on its side, spilling the contents onto the median.
The driver was able to crawl out of the cab, unhurt.
The wreck occurred just before 10 a.m.
