New York Man Arrested in Connection with Fatal Floyd County Shooting

A second man has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a Rome resident.

25 year old Stephon Rickman of Elkmont, New York, stands charged with murder and three counts of aggravated assault, in connection with the death of Travious Floyd, who died as a result of being shot in the neck on May 24th of this year (2015). Joseph E. Williams, age 24 of Lithonia has been in jail since July in connection with the incident.

The shooting occurred outside the Peach nightclub, after someone discharged pepper spray during a rap concert at the club.
