A Leesburg man was killed in a motorcycle accident in Gadsden Wednesday afternoon.
According to Etowah County Coroner Michael Head, 47 year old Charles Carroll was fatally injured in a collision at the intersection of Riverside Drive and Albert Rains Boulevard.
Carroll was traveling south on Albert Rains, when his motorcycle reportedly hit the driver’s side of a Honda Civic near the median around 4:00pm.
Carroll was rushed to Riverview Regional Medical Center where he died a short time later.
