Power has now been restored to those areas of Cedar Bluff, and Pollard’s Bend, which were without service for a time on Tuesday morning.
Sarah Bright with the Cherokee Electric Co op said the power outage in Cedar Bluff was due to a tree limb causing a problem with a three-phase line at the sub-station, while the outage that affected portions of Pollard’s Bend was due to a vehicle striking a power pole.
