A Boaz man has been arrested in connection to a recent burglary in Etowah County, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
Sgt. Robin Grant says that 39 year old Joey Neil Alldredge of Boaz, is charged with one count of third degree burglary and one count of first degree theft of property, both are felonies.
Alldredge allegedly broke into a residence, October 10, on Highway 278 West and stole approximately $5,000 worth of jewelry. Several pieces of jewelry, valued at more than $4,100, was recovered and returned to the rightful owner.
Alldredge is currently being detained in the Etowah County Detention Center on $7,500 bond.
Etowah County Sheriff’s Office investigator Tara Bates also assisted with the case.
