Mr. Robert Elwin Elliott, Jr., age 52 of Centre, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at his residence.

A memorial service will be held Friday at 11 A.M. at the Tates Chapel Cemetery with Rev. John Mullaney officiating.

Survivors include a son, Robert Elwin Elliott, III; sister, Becky Clayton of Centre; niece, Amanda (Jay) Gober of Centre.

Rob was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late Robert Elwin and Sara Woodall Elliott, Sr., was a graduate of the University of Alabama and worked as a scientist in the space industry. He was a member of the Centre First United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tates Chapel Cemetery Fund.
