Leesburg Police Arrest Woman for Possession of Synthetic Marijuana

ButlerA traffic stop conducted by Leesburg Police Officer Joe Johnson resulted in the arrest of the driver on drug charges; 26 year old Lyndsey Nicole Butler was taken into custody, and was charged with the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

According to Leesburg Police Chief Lanny Ransum, Butler was found to be in possession of synthetic marijuana, otherwise known as Spice.

She was booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center just after 7:00pm Wednesday, where she remains awaiting setting of bond.
