In the arrest files for the previous 24 hours:

Faith McEwan, age 47 of Centre, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Tommy Farist, age 61 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on charges of driving under the influence and two counts of leaving the scene of an accident.

Anthony Gaidurgis, age 39 of Centre, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on a charge of public intoxication.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 87 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
