Did you forget to check your smoke alarms when you re-set your clock this weekend? If you did, it’s not too late to take. The National Association of State Fire Marshals has published a list of simple reminders. They include…
-Test all smoke alarms to make sure they’re working properly.
-Replace batteries in alarms that use replaceable batteries, if needed.
-Make sure smoke alarms are installed on every level of your home, inside each bedroom, and outside sleeping areas.
-Replace smoke alarms that are 10 years old or older.
NASFM encourages everyone to make fire safety a priority.
