In the arrest files for the previous 24 hours:

Laurinda Wilson, age 59 of Gadsden, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, tampering with evidence, 2nd degree unlawful possession of marijuana, and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 89 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
