In the arrest files for the previous 24 hours:

Casey Williams, age 38 of Fort Payne, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of 1st degree theft of property.

William Morrow, age 36 of Ragland, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 85 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
