
CENTRE– The Cherokee County Board of Education will meet at 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, at its Central Office, 200 Armory Road in Centre.
According to the meeting agenda, members will consider agreements, travel requests, personnel action, and professional development.
In addition, the board will receive the August 2026 financial report and consider approving minutes from its Sept. 14 meeting. Members will also review current job postings and hear the superintendent’s update.
The opening portion includes prayer, the Pledge of Allegiance, a welcome, and public comments. Afterward, members will establish a quorum, address meeting notification procedures, and adopt the agenda.
The agenda also includes an opportunity for other business before adjournment. However, the announcement does not identify specific agreements, travel requests, or personnel matters for consideration.
