Mrs. Melba Jean Young, age 69, of Cedar Bluff, passed away on October 7, 2026 at her place of residence. She was born on June 12, 1957, to the late Fred Jr. and Betty Jean Turner Hill.
Survivors include her daughters, Crista Jean (Jarvis) Hudgins and Teresa Mae Lackey; brothers, Buddy (Donna) Hill and Timmy Hill; sister, Patricia Ann Flippen; grandchild, Korey Fowler; great-grandchild, Wren Fowler; special friend, Harry Pierce.
She is predeceased by her husband, Donnie Young
Melba was born in Calhoun, GA. She retired from Cornet Carpets and was of the Christian faith.
The family would like to thank Enhabit Hospice especially Lisa Stiefel, whom had an instant connection with Mrs. Melba.
