At 1:08 pm Tuesday afternoon, authorities responded to a structure fire at County Rd. 1038 east of Cedar Bluff. The dark plume could be seen as far away as Centre. The unoccupied mobile home and attached structure burned to the ground.
Centre, Cedar Bluff, Gaylesville, and Broomtown Fire Departments responded, and the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office came to the scene to investigate.
