
GADSDEN– The Etowah County Sheriff’s Office has released its August patrol stats, reporting 479 calls for service and 67 arrests.
The monthly snapshot outlines the Patrol Division’s work responding to calls, assisting residents, and serving communities across nearly 550 square miles.
In addition to answering calls, deputies completed 145 incident reports. The report also lists a combined total of 19 citations and warnings.
Deputies served 61 warrants during August. Meanwhile, civil papers served totaled 1,235, and nightly business checks reached 801.
The report also lists 34,000 transport miles for the month.
The sheriff’s office described the figures as a snapshot of the work its deputies perform around the clock. In addition, the agency thanked Patrol Division personnel for their hard work and dedication to serving and protecting Etowah County.
