JACKSONVILLE POST – A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 1:05 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, has claimed the life of an Anniston man. DjQuae D. Calhoun, 27, was fatally injured when the 2014 Nissan Maxima he was driving left the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned. Calhoun was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash, was ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crash occurred on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive near Lindsey Circle, within the Hobson city limits, in Calhoun County. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
