According to Floyd County Emergency Management Agency and Floyd County GA – Government, Horseleg Creek Road in Rome will close Tuesday to replace a cross drain. Floyd County Public Works will close the road at 8 a.m. on September 29, 2026. The location of the closure is between Horseshoe Bend and Twin Lake Roads north of Radio Springs Road.
There will be no detour for this construction, and no traffic will be allowed through the site. Signs are in place at several locations.
