At the September 22nd Centre City Council meeting, Judge Bill Hawkins swore in City Clerk Aubrey Elder and Assistant City Clerk Lauren Clark.
Elder assumed the clerk’s duties at the last meeting in August while Clark began working this week. Family members for both women attended the ceremony and assisted in the swearing in.
Each council member stood during the ceremony and congratulated Elder and Clark at the end of the meeting.
