BOAZ – The Cherokee County Lady Warriors went 3-1 in the Boaz Volleyball Invitational on Saturday. They defeated Coosa Christian (25-17, 25-15), lost to Boaz (6-25, 23-25), then rebounded to defeat Cullman (14-25, 25-17, 15-7) and Sand Rock (25-19, 11-25, 15-11) to improve to 22-10 on the season.
For the day, Sydni Frost posted 11 digs, an ace and 31 assists. Harleigh Henry collected nine digs, three aces, an assist, four kills, and a block. Mattie Green delivered 12 digs, seven aces, 27 assists, 11 kills and two blocks.
Taniya Fife contributed 18 digs, five aces, two assists, 12 kills and five blocks. Ava Haygood had 17 digs, three aces, an assist, 27 kills and four blocks. Jolie Alexander finished with 12 digs, three aces, an assist, 19 kills and five blocks.
Cherokee County is at Crossville on Tuesday.
