JACKSONVILLE– The Jacksonville State University Department of Health and Public Safety has announced two personnel developments within the University Police Department.

Officer Kirk took the oath of office, while Officer Harbison advanced to the rank of sergeant. The department did not provide additional details about either officer’s new assignment.

Meanwhile, department officials congratulated both officers on their achievements. In addition, they thanked Kirk and Harbison for their continued commitment to the safety and well-being of the Jacksonville State campus community.

The University Police Department provides law enforcement, crime prevention, and emergency services across the campus.
