WHITON-The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office says deputies and local first responders are at the scene of a downed small aircraft in the Whiton community.
For now, the agency is asking the public to avoid the 4700 block of County Road 3 while emergency crews work in the area.
However, authorities have not released information about the aircraft’s occupants, possible injuries, or what led to the incident.
