Lady Warriors earn volleyball tri-match victories over Crossville, Glencoe

CENTRE – The Cherokee County Lady Warriors notched a pair of volleyball match wins on Thursday. They swept Crossville in an area match 25-12, 25-6, 25-6, then defeated Glencoe 28-26, 18-25, 15-13 to improve to 12-4 on the season.

In the win over Crossville, Sydni Frost accumulated 15 assists, three aces and a dig. Harleigh Henry delivered nine aces. Mattie Green contributed six aces, three digs and a pair of kills.

Taniya Fife accounted for four kills and three digs. Ava Haygood collected eight kills, four digs and two aces. Jolie Alexander finished with 10 aces, five kills, and four digs.

Against Glencoe, Frost managed 16 assists, seven digs and a kill. Green posted seven digs, two kills and a block. Fife managed 10 digs and a kill. Haygood delivered nine digs, five kills, two blocks and an ace. Alexander finished with 11 kills, six digs, three aces and a block.

Cherokee County competes in the Albertville Invitational on Saturday.
