CENTRE – A free community worship event will be held Thursday, Oct. 8, at the 411 Twin Drive-In Theatre in Centre.

“Worship Under the Stars” is being organized in partnership with The Well Fort Payne. The event is open to residents of northeast Alabama, northwest Georgia, and surrounding communities.

Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. Organizers said interactive activities suitable for the entire family are planned before the worship service begins.

The focus will shift to worship after dark, at approximately 7 p.m. The evening will include personal testimonies, prayer teams, and a worship music set.

Organizers said they hope the gathering will provide an evening of transformation, hope, and encouragement for those who attend.

Additional information about the event will be released in the coming weeks.

Organizers cited Psalm 113:3 in announcing the event: “From the rising of the sun to its going down, the Lord’s name is to be praised.”
