In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Jimmie Shepard, age 43 of Centre, was arrested by the Leesburg Police Department on charges of tampering with evidence, probation revocation, 2nd degree unlawful possession of marijuana, the illegal possession of prescription pills, and the sale or possession of unlawful hemp products.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 112 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
