Mr. Gary Allen Cothran, age 61, of Centre, AL passed away on August 27, 2026.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 1st at 2:00P.M. at the Perry Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at the Shady Grove Congregational Methodist Church Cemetery with David Cothran speaking. Pallbearers will include Johnathan Roberts, John Roberts, Jerimiah Whooten, Greg Davidson, Carlos Barlow, and Terry Amos. The family will receive friends from 12:00PM until the 2:00PM hour of service.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy Cothran; daughter, Morgan (Justin) Sutherland; brother, Terry (Barbara) Cothran; sisters, Sandra (Barry) Hickle and Rita Knapp, a host of nieces, nephews and all of his former coworkers.

He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Rheba Cothran.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the family to offset funeral expenses.
