Mr. Frank Crane

Mr. Frank Crane, a devoted husband, faithful servant of God, and cherished resident of Gaylesville, Alabama, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 19, 2026.

The family will receive friends at Perry Funeral Home on Friday, August 21, 2026 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.  The funeral service will be held in the Perry Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at 11:00 AM,  with Bro. Sanford DeBerry and Bro. Clay Moreland officiating.  Burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens, in Centre, Alabama.

Pallbearers will be Harold Woodall, James McKissick, Rick Peek, Steve Hunter, Delmus Brewster, and Danny Keener.

Frank was a dedicated member of Faith Baptist Church, where he lived out his beliefs every day.  A Christian for over 55 years, Frank’s greatest passion was sharing the Gospel.  He walked faithfully in his calling and led many people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ during his lifetime.

For 63 beautiful years, Frank was married to the love of his life, Ruby Crane.  Together, they built a home centered on love, hospitality, and service to others.  Frank was a man who loved the simple blessings of life, spending countless hours tending to his yard work and gardening.

Frank had a servant’s heart and a generous spirit, always looking for ways to give to people in need.  He and Ruby were well-known for their ministry of comfort; whenever a family in the community lost a loved one, they were among the first to cook and deliver meals, providing comfort in difficult times.  His legacy of kindness, evangelism, and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to ACG Hospice and Kathleen Durea; as well as special caregivers, Laura Law and Terry Mackey; and special friends, Harold & Brenda Woodall and Helen & Calvin Sanford..
