RAINBOW CITY– The Rainbow City Fire Department placed a new Spartan S-180 apparatus into service this week.
Fire officials said the new apparatus strengthens the department’s fleet and will support its delivery of fire protection and emergency services throughout Rainbow City.
The department thanked Troy with Spartan for his assistance during the sales process and for helping prepare the apparatus for service.
Officials also expressed appreciation to the City of Rainbow City, the mayor, the Rainbow City Council, and other city leaders for their continued support and investment in the fire department.
The department said modern, reliable equipment helps firefighters provide dependable service to the community. Officials expect the Spartan S-180 to serve Rainbow City for many years.
