In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Jessica Willingham, age 36 of Fort Payne, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Jesse Long, age 43 of Jacksonville, was arrested by the Centre Police Department for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Dillon Ocain, age 34 of Leesburg, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on three previous charges.

Tommy Surrett, age 55 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charge of three counts of probation violation.

Dylan Atkins, age 26 of Trion, Georgia, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 106 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
