GADSDEN– The third annual Community Safety Night will bring first responders, local organizations, and families together Tuesday, Aug. 11, in Gadsden.
The Gadsden Police Department announced the event will take place from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at The Venue at Coosa Landing.
Community Safety Night will give residents an opportunity to meet local first responders in a relaxed, family-friendly setting. Attendees can also enjoy food, activities, and demonstrations presented by members of the first-responder community.
In addition, representatives from local organizations will be available to explain the help and assistance they provide throughout the community.
Children attending the event can receive free T-shirts while supplies last.
Gadsden Police encouraged families to mark their calendars and take part in an evening designed to strengthen connections between residents, first responders, and community-support organizations.
