CENTRE– The Centre Fire Department will host a community blood drive with Blood Assurance from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. today, July 29.
The Bloodmobile will be stationed at the fire department, located at 421 East Main Street in Centre. Organizers are encouraging eligible donors to participate and help strengthen the local blood supply.
As a thank-you, eligible donors who give blood during July will receive a $25 Blood Assurance eGift card. The card will be delivered by email within 10 days of the donation. Therapeutic donors are not eligible for the promotional gift card.
Before donating, participants should eat a good meal, drink extra water, avoid energy drinks, and bring a valid photo ID.

A single blood donation can help multiple patients, making each donor an important part of supporting local hospitals and neighbors in need.
