CENTRE– Alexis Missionary Baptist Church will welcome members, former members and visitors for its annual homecoming celebration on Sunday, August 9.
The day will begin with the morning worship service at 10:30 a.m. Wendall Dutton will serve as the guest speaker, while New Ground will provide special music during the celebration.
Homecoming services traditionally provide an opportunity for current and former church members to reconnect. In addition, families and visitors from throughout the community are invited to take part in the worship and fellowship.
Following the morning service, lunch will be served at noon. An afternoon singing will begin at 1 p.m., continuing the day’s celebration through gospel music and fellowship.
Pastor Dr. Brent Kiser and the congregation of Alexis Missionary Baptist Church invite everyone to attend. The church is located at 870 County Road 685 in Centre.
