Anniston Woman Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Alabama 202

Alabama 202 pedestrian crash near Anniston claims the life of Destiney M. Bobo.

ANNISTON– An Anniston woman was killed early Tuesday after a pickup truck struck her on Alabama 202.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency identified the woman as Destiney M. Bobo, 40. ALEA said Bobo was in the roadway when the crash occurred around 4:30 a.m.

Bobo was struck by a 2015 Ram 1500 driven by Kerry P. McIntosh, 39, of Anniston. Authorities pronounced Bobo dead at the scene.

The crash occurred near the 6-mile marker, less than one mile west of Anniston in Calhoun County.

Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate the crash. No additional information is available.
