CENTRE– First Baptist Centre will host its annual Red Back Hymn Sing on Sunday, August 9, beginning at 5 p.m.
The special evening will bring members of the church and community together to sing beloved hymns and celebrate the tradition of congregational music.
Red Back hymn sings take their name from the familiar red-backed hymnbook long used by churches, singing groups, and families across the South. The events offer participants an opportunity to revisit familiar songs while sharing an evening of worship, music, and fellowship.
First Baptist Centre invites area residents, church congregations, and anyone who enjoys traditional hymns to attend.
The annual Red Back Hymn Sing will begin at 5 p.m. on August 9 at First Baptist Centre.
