GADSDEN– Gadsden State Police Officer Emily Troxtel recently completed the NASRO Basic School Resource Officer Course in Huntsville.
According to the Gadsden State Police Department, Troxtel received specialized training throughout the week. The course covered school and campus safety, leadership, threat assessment, and crisis response.
Training also focused on building positive relationships with students, faculty, and staff. Those strategies can help officers create safer learning environments while building trust across campus.
The Gadsden State Police Department congratulated Officer Emily Troxtel on completing the nationally recognized training. Department officials said continued education helps officers provide a high level of service to the Gadsden State community.
