CEDAR BLUFF— A new waterfront dining destination is set to open on Weiss Lake as Jefferson’s Weiss Lake celebrates its grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, June 25.
The sports bar and wing restaurant will be located at 3440 Alabama Highway 9 in Cedar Bluff, occupying the building formerly home to Weiss Lake 360 Bar & Grill.
The Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce & Tourism will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:30 a.m. on opening day to officially welcome the restaurant to the community.
Jefferson’s Weiss Lake will offer both road and lake access, making it one of only a handful of restaurants on Weiss Lake where visitors can arrive directly by boat. The location is believed to be just the third restaurant on the lake accessible by water.
Chamber officials are inviting members, community leaders, residents, and visitors to attend the ceremony and help celebrate the opening of the new business overlooking Weiss Lake.
The restaurant’s operating hours will be Sunday through Thursday from 10:30 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until 10 p.m.
The opening marks the addition of another dining and entertainment option in Cherokee County while bringing the Jefferson’s brand to one of Northeast Alabama’s most popular recreational destinations.
