
CEDAR BLUFF — The Town of Cedar Bluff is inviting residents and visitors to celebrate Independence Day during its annual Liberty Day Celebration on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at Cedar Bluff Park, as part of the nationwide observance of America’s 250th birthday.
The day-long celebration will begin at 9 a.m. and will feature a wide variety of entertainment, activities, food, and attractions for all ages, culminating with a fireworks display over Weiss Lake after dark.
One of the featured attractions will be a Classic Car Show, beginning at 9 a.m. at Cedar Bluff Park, located at 4971 Alabama Highway 68 in Cedar Bluff. Organizers are encouraging owners of classic cars and specialty vehicles to participate in the show.
Live entertainment will be provided throughout the day by a lineup of musical acts, including Double Portion, Appalachian Memories, Steven Blalock, Parker Thomas, Stranded, Austin Bishop, Self Served Unplugged, and Strickly Skynard.
In addition to the music and car show, organizers have planned numerous family-friendly activities. Guests will be able to enjoy food vendors, inflatables, a bungee trampoline, a petting zoo, arts and crafts, and a rock-climbing attraction.
Town officials say the celebration is designed to offer something for everyone while honoring the nation’s 250th anniversary and bringing the community together for a full day of patriotic activities.

The Liberty Day celebration will conclude with a fireworks show over Weiss Lake at dark, serving as the grand finale to the town’s Independence Day festivities.
