
CENTRE — Dust will fly and excitement will fill the air as the Third Annual Estes Field PCA Rodeo rides back into Cherokee County for another weekend of professional rodeo competition.
Presented by the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce and Tourism and the City of Centre, the annual event will take place Friday, June 12, and Saturday, June 13, at Estes Field in Centre.
Organizers are inviting residents and visitors alike to come out for two action-packed evenings featuring many of rodeo’s most popular events. Fans can expect to see professional competitors take part in bull riding, bronc riding, barrel racing, team roping, and more. Young rodeo enthusiasts will also have a chance to enjoy the crowd-favorite mutton bustin’ competition.
Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. each night, with mutton bustin’ beginning at 6:30 p.m. Rodeo events are scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m.
Admission is $20 per person, while children ages 5 and under will be admitted free.
The Estes Field PCA Rodeo has become a popular annual tradition in Cherokee County, drawing spectators from across the region for a family-friendly celebration of western heritage and professional rodeo competition.
Organizers encourage everyone to grab their boots and hats and head to Centre for what promises to be two exciting nights of thrills, entertainment, and rodeo action under the lights.
