GADSDEN — The Coates Bend Volunteer Fire Department will hold a Boston butt fundraiser on Saturday, June 27, to support its ongoing operations and community service efforts.
The fundraiser will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1140 Pulltight Road in Gadsden. Boston butts will be available for purchase at $45 each.
Officials with the department say proceeds from the event will go toward supporting the volunteer fire department and its continued service to the Coates Bend community.
The Coates Bend Volunteer Fire Department expressed appreciation for the continued support from residents and encouraged the public to participate in the fundraiser.
