ROME — A Rome City Schools bus transporting students to summer activities was involved in a minor accident Thursday morning near West End Elementary School.

According to information released by Rome City Schools, there were no injuries reported as a result of the incident, and all students and staff members aboard the bus were safe.

School officials said the parents of the students who were on the bus have been contacted regarding the accident.

No additional details about the cause of the accident or any other vehicles involved were released.

Rome City Schools stated that student and staff safety remains a top priority and confirmed that all individuals involved were unharmed.
