Southside Police Seek Public’s Help Locating Stolen Utility Trailer

SOUTHSIDE— The Southside Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a stolen utility trailer taken from the Pilgrims Rest Road area late last month.

According to investigators, the trailer was reported stolen on or about May 26, 2026.

Authorities describe the missing trailer as a 12-foot bumper-pull utility trailer with green coloring and wooden 2×6 plank flooring. Police say the trailer also has unique identifying features, including purpose-built welded hangers attached to the sides.

Investigators are encouraging residents in the Pilgrims Rest Road area to review any home security or doorbell camera footage from around the date of the theft for suspicious activity that could assist in the investigation.

Anyone who has seen the trailer or has information regarding its location is urged to contact the Southside Police Department Investigations Division.

Information can be submitted by email to investigations@cityofsouthside.com or by phone at (256) 442-2255.

Police say callers may remain anonymous.

The Southside Police Department is also asking community members to share information about the stolen trailer to help increase awareness and aid in its recovery.
