Mrs. Nelma Ann Guice, age 85, of Cedar Bluff, passed away on May 18, 2026, at Cherokee County Health and Rehab Center.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at Perry Funeral Home. The funeral service take place immediately following the visitation,in the Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Scott Hosey officiating. Burial will follow in Noah Cemetery, with Bro. Freddy Reynolds speaking at the grave site.
Pallbearers will be Bryan Dorsett, Robert Guice, Timothy Guice, Mark Heckman, Burt Hill, and Craig Chandler.
Ms. Guice is survived by her son, Mitchell (Tina) Guice; daughters, Robin (Rick) Dickey and Pam (Chris) Dorsett; grandchildren, Bryan Dorsett, Robert Guice and Timothy Guice; great-granddaughter, Sutton Dorsett; sisters, Jacqueline Hill and Marcella (Randy) Whorton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Alexander Chandler and Mary Elizabeth Copeland Chandler; grandson, Seth Aaron Dickey, as well as her brothers, Jack (Ann) Ackerand Billy Wayne Chandler; sister, Juanita (Kermit) Tierce; and brother-in-law, Freddy Hill.
Ms. Guice was a member of Cedar Bluff Baptist Church.
The family respectfully requests no flowers. Instead, memorials may be made in her honor to Cherokee County High School Girls Athletics 910 Warrior Drive; Centre, AL 35960.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Cherokee County Health and Rehab for all the loving care given to our mother over the years, and to Southern Care New Beacon Hospice, as well.
