Children’s Advocacy Center to Host Fourth Annual “Save Jane” Event

Centre- The Children’s Advocacy Center of Cherokee County is inviting the community to attend its Fourth Annual “Save Jane” event this Friday, May 1, in front of the new Cherokee County Courthouse.

The event will begin at 1:00 p.m. and is designed to bring the community together in a show of unity, remembrance, and support for those served by the organization.

According to the Children’s Advocacy Center, the program will honor individuals by giving voice to their stories while protecting their identities. In doing so, names will be represented as “Jane Doe” and “John Doe.”

Organizers say the annual event aims to raise awareness and foster community support for victims, while highlighting the importance of advocacy and protection services.

Featured guest speaker for this year’s event will be Evie Smith, Alabama Network of Children’s Advocacy Centers State Ambassador and Miss Phenix City.

The Children’s Advocacy Center of Cherokee County encourages the public to attend and take part in this meaningful opportunity to stand in solidarity with those impacted.
