District Attorney Summerford Honors Centre Elementary Students with Power of 1 Awards
Centre- District Attorney Summerford recently presented six Power of 1 Awards to students at Centre Elementary School in recognition of their positive character and leadership.
The awards honor students who consistently demonstrate kindness, helpfulness, and a positive attitude toward others in their school community.
This month’s recipients include Lylli Rieger, Scarlett Cowart, Claire McGee, Joey Kelley, Creedance McNabb, and Haylie Henry.
Officials say the Power of 1 Award highlights the importance of individual actions in making a meaningful difference in schools and encourages students to continue setting a strong example for their peers.
